W Bro Cohans Views on Freemasonry

W Bro Cohans Views on Freemasonry

I was introduced to Freemasonry in 2000 by my brother in law, who at the time, because of the way the organisation operated (with a higher degree of secrecy), couldn’t actually tell me anything about what was involved or expected of me. What he did say was “if you like a little ceremony, if you like a nice meal with wine, if you like a little speech and toasts – all the while raising money for charity and making new friends – then you’ll like Freemasonry”.

I am so glad I took the decision to join – because I have made so many new friends within this lodge and in others – and met their families through social events – it has become a little oasis within the stresses and strains of work and everyday life.

Freemasonry has challenged me in ways I never thought possible, it is character building in so many ways and it brings satisfaction in so many ways and I would thoroughly recommend Marlow Bridge Lodge to anyone, of any age, in any walk of life.
