Covid Awareness

The Marlow Bridge Lodge follow guidance from relavent bodies to protect members and the public from the dangers posed by the Corona virus. This level of activity will change to suit the active risk at the time.

This ranges from social distancing and wearing masked through to engaging remotely and the cancellation of events.

Applied hygiene practices recommended for members and guests includes:

• Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze: catch it, bin it, kill it!
• Putting used tissues in the bin straight away.
• Washing your hands with soap and water often and using hand sanitiser gel if soap and water is not available.
• Trying to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
• Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
• Not touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

Face to face meetings and gatherings

We recommend travel should be avoided unless absolutely essential during periods of known covid risk, especially if the journey requires using public transport.

Recognising symptoms

Please see official external governement guidance on symptoms.

However, we acknowledge the following symptons to be on the look out for.

• Persistent cough
• Difficulty in breathing
• Fever
